The High Inspectorate of the Declaration and Audit of Assets and Conflict of Interest (ILDKPKI) has started gathering evidence in order to provide the Independent Qualification Commission (KPK) with reports on the assets of judges and prosecutors as part of the vetting procedure.
The ILDKPKI has sent official requests to the Central Asset Registration Offices (Hipoteka) as well as several other state institutions to gather information on the assets of 775 judges and prosecutors up to January 16, 2017. These data will then be compared with the self-declaration forms submitted by the magistrates and be collected into a final report to be evaluated by the KPK.
High on the priority list are the members of the High Judicial Council (KLGj) and High Prosecutorial Council (KLP), two new judicial institutions that will start their work after the summer.
