Italian Police Dismantles Albanian–Italian Criminal Organization in Naples

This weekend the Italian Guardia di Finanza has dismantled in Naples yet another criminal organization trafficking drugs from Albania to Italy.

No details are yet available about the organization, but the Italian media report around 26 people have been arrested.

The criminal organization is suspected of trafficking different types of narcotics, including marijuana, heroin, and cocaine from Albania to Naples and Caserta.

The Italian police investigation started in 2016 and had so far led to the arrest of 9 members and the seizure of 7.4 kg of heroin and 38 kg marijuana. Also cash at a value of €500,000 has been seized.
