Kapshtica Border Crossing Closed Following Fake COVID-19 Tests

The Kapshtica border crossing with Greece is closed as of today.  The closure comes following the discovery that a group of individuals was forging negative PCR tests in Albania which were then used to cross the border.

Greek police had detained two people who were using a falsified COVID-19 test.

The Kakavija, Evzoni and Promahona crossing points remain open. At Kakavija, the decision to allow a maximum of 750 crossings a day remains in force.
