The High Prosecutorial Council (KLP) voted unanimously to elect Altin Dumani as the Head of the Serious Crimes Appeals Prosecution Office.
Altin Dumani was nominated prosecutor at the Tirana Prosecution in 2004. He led the Anti-Corruption Task Force in 2008, and was a prosecutor at the Appeals Prosecution until today’s nomination.
Prosecutor Dumani is also a candidate the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecution Office (SPAK) which is expected to be installed in few months.
Dumani is also expected to go through the vetting process soon.
