Kosovo and Israel have discussed ways to provide the Balkan country with COVID-19 vaccines.
Minister of Health from Pristina and Jerusalem, Armend Zemaj and Yuli Edelstein had a virtual meeting on Wednesday to discuss the provision of vaccines for Kosovo.
Zemaj said the two countries will “fully cooperate” in fighting the pandemic and working towards securing vaccines for Kosovo.
It comes three days after Kosovo opened its embassy in Jerusalem.
Authorities in Pristina have not been able to provide any vaccines yet, be it purchased or donated.
Albania has offered to vaccinate Kosovo’s medical staff but the two governments have yet to arrange for the process.
