Kosovo has declared two officials of the Russian representative office persona non grata for engaging in “harmful activity” against the country’s national security and constitutional order.
President Vjosa Osmani announced the news on Friday, saying that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs had informed institutions to deport them.
“The institutions of the Republic of Kosovo are committed to the fight against the malignant influence of the Russian Federation and its satellites in the region, who aim to undermine our achievements and those of the United States, NATO, and the EU. For this reason, we will continue to work closely with our American and European allies to prevent the attempt of Kosovo and our region to fall prey to the destabilizing ambitions of the Russian Federation,” Osmani stated.
