The Vetvendosje government of Kosovo has announced that all student fees for the next academic year, at Bachelor and Master level, will be free of charge.
Minister of Education, Arberie Nagavci, announced that for the academic year 2021-2022, tuition fees at public universities have been scrapped.
“Education is a right for which no student should pay. Therefore, starting from this academic year 2021-2022, in accordance with the Government Program of the Government Kuri II, students will be exempt from fees at the public university,” LVV announced.
The government stated they are also working to remove the fees for PhD students as well.
According to Radio Free Europe, undergraduate students in Albania pay between 160-330 euros in tuition fees every year, while North Macedonian students pay between 200 and 400 euros.
