Journalist Visar Duriq was brutally beaten by three masked men on Wednesday night in Kosovo.
He was attacked near his apartment, and the three men left in less than two minutes. Injuries included four broken teeth, badly injured nose and chin.
Duriq said the attack may have been a revenge for his journalistic work in an investigation broadcast recently.
Organizations defending journalists and human rights condemned the attack. Kosovo Journalists Association (AGK) and Kosovo Institute for Justice (IKD) called on authorities to investigate the matter immediately and find the crime perpetrators.
Outgoing Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti also urged the police and prosecution for a swift investigation.
