Journalist Shkumbin Kajtazi’s car was hit by bullets in the early morning hours of Sunday in the city of Mitrovica, Kosovo.
Kajtazi announced the news on his Facebook page, including photos of the damaged car.
“Last night I faced a dangerous attack: my car was shot with 5 or 6 bullets. The incident happened around midnight, when the car was parked in the center of Mitrovica, he wrote.
Kajtazi said he found bullet holes in the car windows, driver’s seat, on the roof and in the back.
He considered the attack as a threat related to his work as journalist, and added that he won’t be intimidated or scared.
“I am simply desperate with my country and its people,” the journalist wrote.
The police are investigating the attack.
