Between August 20 and September 10, everyone wishing to participate in indoor and large gatherings in Kosovo will need to present proof of vaccination.
On Thursday, the Kosovo government approved new measures to fight the pandemic, as the number of COVID-19 cases soar. Only yesterday, the country recorded 1,009 new infections.
A vaccination certificate will be required to enter nightclubs, family gatherings (for example, birthday parties or weddings), and mass gatherings of more than 100 people.
Those who do not possess a vaccination certificate will be allowed entry only if they show a negative PCR test no older than 72 hours, or a rapid test no older than 48 hours. Or they must present proof that they have had COVID-19.
Employees of the establishments mentioned above must be vaccinated.
Furthermore, foreign citizens, including foreign residents, will be required to present a negative PCR test to enter the country. The test should not be older than 72 hours.
