Kosovo President Hashim Thaçi was interviewed for the third day in a row by war crime prosecutors in The Hague on Wednesday.
Prosecutors of Kosovo’s Specialist Prosecutor’s Office have filed a war crime indictment against him, which is awaiting review by a judge. The judge’s decision should come before the end of October, and it will show whether Thaçi will be charged.
He gave a statement in defense of the Albanians’ war for an independent Kosovo before entering the Special Chambers building on the first day of interviews, but has not talked to the press since then.
Thaçi will be interviewed for a fourth day on Thursday.
