Kosovo’s largest party Vetevendosje (LVV) has denounced the Hoti government’s management of the coronavirus pandemic, warning that it is leading the country towards a humanitarian crisis.
The party of Former Prime Minister Albin Kurti called Kosovo’s current leadership a “government of death” and said that it must step down, “so the country can be governed by those who proved they could successfully manage the pandemic and the country’s economy.”
In the last two days alone, 31 people succumbed to COVID-19 in Kosovo, whereas the number of victims since the beginning of the pandemic has reached 236.
Similarly, the number of hospitalized coronavirus patients has risen significantly in the past few weeks, leading to the majority of the country’s hospitals being overwhelmed.
