Denar Biba, chairman of the Central Election Commission (KQZ) has resigned from his function today, following the agreement between Prime Minister Edi Rama and opposition leader Lulzim Basha.
Biba is expected to be succeeded by Klement Zguri, who has been a member of the KQZ since 2000.
The election of a new chair of the KQZ is one of the agenda items on the extraordinary session of Parliament today at 18:00.
