Leaders of Kosovo and Serbia to Continue Dialogue in September

The leaders of Kosovo and Serbia will meet in Brussels in mid-September to discuss how the dialogue on the normalization of the two countries’ relations will proceed.

Përparim Kryeziu, a spokesperson for the Kosovo government, confirmed the news for Prishtina-based outlet Kallxo.com.

Asked about the agenda for the meeting, Kryeziu said that nothing had been decided yet.

Yesterday, Miroslav Lajcak, the Special Envoy of the European Union, spoke with representatives from both governments about preparatiosn for the dialogue. In a post on Twitter, he also mentioned that he expected the dialogue to continue in September.

This will be the third official meeting between Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic. Both meetings have yielded no agreements on contested issues.
