A 59-year-old man has been arrested in Tirana after he killed two of his sisters this morning.
The man was arrested a few hours after the crime was committed in the Astir neighbourhood of the city.
Tirana police director Rebani Jaupi said that the women were shot by their brother who lived with one of them. He said the suspect used an automatic firearm.
“After the crime, he left the machine gun in the apartment and left the apartment.”
Jaupi added that the double murder took place in front of the children of one of the sisters and that the argument started over the continuation of cohabitation between them.
