Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj has recovered from Covid-19.
Veliaj announced the news on his social media networks on Wednesday.
“Following two weeks of isolation and medical treatment – in Tirana, and nowhere else – the last test showed I’ve recovered from Covid-19, and I’m stronger than ever to return to the many works in our capital,” Veliaj wrote.
The mayor self-isolated at home on July 28, upon testing positive for Covid-19.
