“European values must be shared and protected. Therefore, we call on your vigilance regarding the treatment of the cultural heritage sector in Albania. We urge you to take a clear position as the EU on this issue. As a start, condemning the demolition of the historic building and promoting a policy for the protection of cultural heritage in neighbouring countries,” reads the letter.
