Ministry of Health Reiterates Call for Hygiene and Social Distancing Amid Increasing Cases
The Ministry of Health has advised citizens to protect themselves from coronavirus infection by always having protective equipment such as masks and disinfectant with them,  and by maintaining social distances.

Through a post on social media, the Ministry writes that three simple steps can prevent the spread of COVID-19:

  • We need to avoid congestion, maintain physical distancing to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
  • The protective mask is already a universally accepted tool in this case.
  • Frequent hand washing and disinfection prevents SARS-COV2 infection.

The ministry also advises citizens to always carry a mask, disinfectant, hand washing, personal water bottles, napkins and vitamin C.

172 people have died in the last five weeks which is equivalent to 30% of the death toll since the start of the pandemic. 501 new cases were found yesterday- a record high- bringing the total to 24,206. 44% of all cases have been found since October 1.
