Nearly half of construction permits approved in Albania in the first quarter of 2020 have been issued in the district of Tirana, which includes municipalities of Tirana, Vora, Kamza, Kavaja and Rrogozhina.
INSTAT reported that 84 of a total of 184 construction permits were issued in the Tirana district.
This is 10 construction permits less than the same period last year.
Countrywide there was a 25 percent decrease in the number of permits: 245 in Q1 of 2019 versus 184 in 2020.
Elbasan district had the second highest number, 19 permits approved.
