North Macedonia Closes Borders as Coronavirus Cases Rise to 25

North Macedonia decided to close all its land borders today, as well as the Skopje airport, in a bid to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Minister of Health Venko Filipce stated that the only people that will be permitted entry will be Macedonian citizens, diplomats, people with special permission by state institutions, and vehicles transporting goods.

As of today, the number of infected cases in Macedonia is 25, with 7 cases found in the last 24 hours. Only one of the infected is currently hospitalized.
