A magnitude 5.5 earthquake struck in North Macedonia last night at 4.54am.Its epicentre was in the village of Leunovo in Mavrovo.
Strong tremors were felt in Tetovo, Gostivar and Skpopje. People also reported feeling the quake as far away as Tirana where citizens said they woke, feeling the bed shaking.
The quake took place at a depth of around 6km.
No injury or damage to property has been reported so far.
