Over 200,000 Albanians have been fully vaccinated according to the Minister of Health Ogerta Manastirliu.
Through a Facebook post, Manastirliu stated that:
“More than 200,000 citizens have received both doses of the vaccine and are today much more protected from COVID-19. Vaccination continues at high rates throughout the country.”
In Albania, over 650,000 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19 with at least one dose.
Four days ago, 11,700 doses of the Pfizer vaccine arrived in Albania. Over 750,000 doses have arrived in total since January.
In the last 24 hours, 49 new cases of COVID infection and one loss of life were reported.
There are still 7,407 active cases of COVID-19 in Albania.
