Today, Kosovar police arrested ten activists from the Vetëvendosja, among them MP Saranda Bogujevci, after they threw paint at the police.
During a protest in front of the Prishtina Police Department building, denouncing the police’s negligence towards cases of domestic violence and violence against women, the Vetëvendosja activists threw red paint at the officers.
Bogujevci was released after an hour, while the police stated that dozens of officers were hurt during the protest.
The protest came as a result of a serious crime that took place a few days ago in Gjakovë, where a man murdered his ex-wife and his daughter.
