Head of Kukes Prosecutor’s Office, Rita Gjati, has filed a criminal report against members of Independent Qualification Commission (KPK) for abuse of office.
In the report, provided by BalkanWeb, prosecutor Gjati accuses the chairwoman of KPK, Genta Bungo, and members Alma Faskaj and Lulëzim Hamitaj, of not reviewing all evidence submitted by her during the vetting process.
“From the review of the report of the investigation carried out by KPK for the assessment on three components of the vetting process: asset assessment, background assessment, and proficiency in which KPC referred to the issuance of results, I found that KPK did not administer a lot of official data and documents, which were sent by me as a subject of re-evaluation and directly affected the results of the investigation “, it is stated in the criminal report of the prosecutor Gjati.
