Prime Minister Edi Rama held a meeting today with the newly elected Socialist deputies. Among other things, Prime Minister Rama declared:
Regarding the Government Rama 2
Our priority in this transition phase until the formation of the new government will be the taking out lessons for this mandate through a very serious reflection.
The governing team will be ready only in early September and nobody, except me has time to lose regarding this matter.The structure of the new government will be announced after this reflection, until August. If we fail to prepare this coalition with citizens, we must prepare for a greater failure.
I urge all the deputies to focus on this very important preparatory process for the new mandate and to instantly launch a weekly hearing session tour between the party and the community in every administrative district
Although, this will be a one party government, we will not govern alone, but in a big coalition with the common people of this country.
We should be aware, that if we fail in the process of the preparation of this great coalition, we are preparing for a major failure of this much significant mandate.
About the elections
We have received more votes than 4 years ago, something very rare for the leading party of the country.
73 percent of the Albanians present in the country voted.
Let’s all keep in mind that a support of these magnitude is not an appreciation for what we did but a belief for what we can do in the future. Non-justifying this belief would be fatal to the PS.
Regarding Ilir Meta
I have to thank Ilir Meta, not for the things he sent to hell with his chronicle non-reasoning reasoning, thus blowing up the project for a unified left, but for all the positive undeniable contributes that he gave during our common work.
