Prime Minister Edi Rama has reiterated that a second COVID-19 lockdown in Albania is unlikely.
“Today I do not see a second closure [due to the coronavirus] on the horizon.”
This is what Prime Minister Rama stated on Sunday afternoon while answering the questions of some citizens on Facebook.
Rama stressed that the decision to close the country is not made by him, but is decided by the pandemic situation, by the number of infected and hospitalized.
For this reason, he called on citizens to be careful and respect the measures against the spread of Covid-19:
“If we do not do our duty, unfortunately this may come as it is coming in some countries. That is why it is important to keep the masks indoors, to keep the distance, to wash your hands often. ”
