Kosovo’s Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti has appointed Skender Hyseni as national coordinator in the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue.
The dialogue coordinator is expected to head the Expert Committee that was formed within the Prime Minister’s Office in early July and is tasked with compiling specific analysis reports and advising the Prime Minister and the government on the dialogue with Serbia.
Hyseni will also represent Kosovo in the meeting with Serbia that will take place on Thursday in Brussels. Additionally, the national coordinator will also work on drafting the final agreement with Serbia.
Hyseni is a member of the Democratic League of Kosovo’s (LDK) leadership, alongside Prime Minister Hoti. He has previously served as Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of the Interior, and Minister of Culture.
