Socialist Party Promised ‘Full Rehabilitation’ of National Theater in 2013 Elections

In their 2013 electoral campaign and government program, which made them election winners, the Socialist Party of the now Prime Minister Edi Rama promised the “full rehabilitation of the National Theater according to European standards.”

Seven years later, Prime Minister Rama demolished the National Theater. He now says that “that sawdust building was impossible to rehabilitate and it was demolished 70 years too late.”
