The Special Anti-Corruption Prosecution (SPAK) has charged defendants Redjan Rraja and Ariol Halilaj for the assassination attempt against Arjan Ndoja who was injured and the murder of his driver Andi Maloku.
SPAK announced on Thursday that it has sent Rraja and Halilaj to trial while investigations into this event will continue “in order to discover other perpetrators involved”.
The Special Prosecution charged Rraja and Halilaj with seven criminal offenses, including the attempted murder of Ndoja and Laho.
Durrës Prosecutor Arjan Ndoja was injured on November 1, 2019, on the Tirana-Durrës highway, while travelling as a passenger in a car.
