Students of several faculties of the University of Tirana have unfurled large banners announcing their boycott of the university until their 8 demands to the government have been met.
Images circulating on social media show the Faculty of Foreign Languages of the University of Tirana and the Faculty of Engineering of the Polytechnic University with large banners containing the hashtag #Boycott.
In another video posted online, students are shown nailing the entrance door to the main building of the Polytechnic University shut.
The students are gathering today to resume their protests after the holiday season, holding their protest at 10:00 in front of the Prime Ministry.
