Students protest in Tirana, PM Rama meets others in Vlora

On the 15th day of protests, students seem to be determined to push the government into meeting their 8 demands without negotiations taking place.

Students gathered at their faculties as usually today, they abandoned lessons and walked to the Prime Minister’s Office.

Faculty of Social Sciences students have started a petition calling for the boycotting of lessons until their demands are met and the Law on Higher Education is abolished.

Faculty of Economics students have come to the decision not to pay university fees until the government meets their 8 demands.

Meanwhile, this morning Prime Minister Rama was attending a meeting with students of University of Vlora.

Students protesting in Tirana claimed that the Prime Minister was actually holding a meeting in Vlora with the youth from the Socialist Party Youth Forum (SPYF), same way he did on Top Channel TV, where members of the SPYF pretended to be non-party-affiliated students.
