Suspected Human Remains Found in Kosovo Village

Kosovo Police reported that suspected human remains were found in the Pogragja village of Klina town in north-west of the country.

Police announced that the war crimes unit is investigating the case.

More than 1,600 victims of the Kosovo war in 1998-1999 are still listed as missing.

The issue is one of the priorities of the new government in their dialogue with Serbia.

Five mass graves were found in December in Serbia’s southwestern town of Kizevak.

Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti confirmed in April that he received information the remains of two bodies found in Kizhevak’s mass grave were identified as victims of Kosovo war.
