Tourists Visiting Albania Won’t Need Vaccine Passport

Tourists visiting Albania this year will not need a vaccination passport to travel.

“No vaccination passport will be required for tourists” PM Rama reported on Sunday, during his visit at the mass vaccination center set up at Skanderbeg Square.

Vaccine passports are primarily taking shape as free mobile apps where international travelers upload their proof of vaccination, as well as any necessary coronavirus test results or health waivers.

Rama said his government is ready to provide vaccine passports for Albanian citizens, should the EU require it from them.

Albania has started mass vaccination with Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Sinovac, and Sputnik V vaccines.
