Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić has won the Serbian presidential elections.
According to the projections of the Serbian NGO Centre for Free Elections and Democracy (CeSID), Vučić has won 55.7% of the votes. Former National Ombudsman Saša Janković won 15.6%, followed by comedian Ljubiša Preletačević “Beli,” whose real name is Luka Maksimović, with 9.6%, and candidate for President of the US General Assembly Vuk Jeremić with 5.7%. Leader of the right-wing nationalists Vojislav Šešelej won 4.5%.
CeSID’s projects were based on counting 93.3% of the votes, with turnout estimated at 53%.
