A 13-year-old Roma girl has lost her life as a result of a fire that broke out in the accommodation unit where she lived with her family.
The incident happened in the Liria neighbourhood of Shkodra in the North of Albania.
According to reports, the girl’s grandmother lit a fire to warm them but it got out of hand and set fire to the whole unit, as well as two other nearby units. Firefighters brought the fire under control.
