As of July 1, 2021, there will be zero roaming charges for mobile phone users in the Western Balkans.
The Western Balkan Six signed an agreement, facilitated by the Regional Cooperation Council and the European Union.
Reduced charges were rolled out in the first phase, but as of 1 July, all roaming charges will be scrapped.
EU Ambassador to Albania, Luigi Soreca posted a reminder today on Twitter.
From 1 July 2021 Zero Roaming fees in the Western Balkans, #Albania🇦🇱included! #RoamFree!
You need to have just one thing in mind: to have full battery on your phone. So #staycharged!
