Albania COVID-19 Update 26 November: 10 Dead, 656 Infections, 321 Recoveries

Ten people infected with COVID-19 have died in Albania in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 753. The victims’ age varies between 44 and 85.

About 49 percent of deaths related to the novel coronavirus have occurred since October 1.

656 new cases have been found in the meantime, bringing the total number of cases to 35,600. Since October 1, Albania has seen 21,951 cases, or over 62 percent of the total. 

321 people have recovered, 17,352 since the beginning of the pandemic.

There are currently 469 patients hospitalized with the virus, 15 are in intensive care, 4 are intubated in aggravated condition.

The distribution of new cases is as follows: Tiranë (131), Lezhë (78), Gjirokastër (47), Krujë (46), Durrës (44), Vlorë (31), Berat (28), Sarandë (27), Elbasan (24), Kavajë (22), Përmet (22), Kukës (18), Kurbin (17), Lushnje (17), Librazhd (16), Gramsh (16), Tropojë (15), Pukë (12), Malësi e Madhe (11), Tepelenë (7), Kolonjë (7), Mat (5), Bulqizë (5), Korçë (3), Dibër (2), and one case in  Fier, Pogradec, Delvinë, Peqin, Kuçovë.

17,495 cases are still active in the country: Tiranë (8904), Fier (1360), Durrës (1312), Korçë (953), Vlorë (875), Shkodër (870),  Elbasan (827), Lezhë (757), Berat (524), Gjirokastër (551), Kukës (392), Dibër (170).
