After Exit first brought the news last month, it has now been confirmed that Hoyt Brian Yee, US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European Affairs and Eurasian Affairs, will become the US Ambassador to Macedonia.
AlJazeera Balkans cites sources from within the US Department of State confirming this news. Yee will replace the current US Ambassador Jess Bailey.
So far, the US Department of State has not officially confirmed Yee’s appointment.
