11 Albanian nationals were apprehended by Border Police as they tried to enter the UK illegally.
They were detained after being discovered at Dock Gate 4 in Southampton. Hampshire police responded along with the Border force officers and the immigrants have been detained in relation to immigration offences.
One of those captured is believed to be a pregnant woman11 Albwho has been taken to hospital. Another is said to be 17 years old and has been handed over to the care of Child Services.
The Albanians were found onboard the MV Salome. Associated British Ports who operate the port where they were found said they continue to support government agencies with their investigations.
