The whistleblower website Za’Lart has gathered 125 reports from the Albanian public about vote buying strategies, abuse of public office, and political pressure during the electoral campaign. Most reports are accompanied by photographs documenting the violations.
In spite of stricter regulations set by the government and a Ministry of Interior Affairs and Ministry of Justice run by technical minister proposed by the opposition, such practices appear still to be widespread and are common among all parties participating in the elections.
