Vetevendosje to Present Candidates for Albanian Elections Today

The branch of the political party Vetëvendosje Movement in Albania will present their first candidates for the April 25 elections.

Earlier, Lëvizja Vetëvendosje in Albania announced that it will engage in the April 25 elections, supporting the candidacies proposed by the voters, both inside and outside its structures.

VV in Albania says that this step aims to offer an alternative in politics so that Albanians do not feel forced to leave.

They said that citizens have the right to come together to nominate those candidates who they think represent their rights:

“In each of the 12 constituencies (districts) of Albania, citizens have the right to come together to propose candidates by voters. Nine citizens of a constituency have the right to advance to the CEC the candidacy for a deputy. The officialization of this candidacy is done through the collection of 3,000 signatures, starting from the middle of January 2021 “
