A petition launched on Friday is demanding Apple Maps to show an international border between Kosovo and Serbia.
The border line separating the two countries on Apple Maps is visually different from those used to separate other countries, eventually showing Kosovo as part of Serbia.
The petition titled “Put Kosovo on Apple Maps” has gained about 11,000 signatures in a day since it was posted online.
“It is very worrying that Kosovo is not shown on Apple Maps. You can hardly see its borders and the worst thing is that it is shown as a part of Serbia. This needs to change ASAP because Kosovo has been an independent country since 2008,” it reads.
Serbia does not recognize Kosovo since it declared independence in 2008.
