One person infected with Covid-19 has died in Albania in the last 24 hours. A 58-year old from Tirana succumbed to the virus, bringing the total number of victims to 189.
135 new cases have been found, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic to 6151, the Ministry of Health reported.
The new cases were found in Tirana (113), Durrës (11), Kukës (2), Vora (2), Shkodra (1), Kruja (1), Has (1), Kavaja (1), Vlora (1), Tropoja (1), and Kamza (1).
72 people have recovered, bringing the total to 3227.
2735 cases are still active in the country, about half of them in Tirana.
Over 44,000 people have been tested since March, including serological (antibody) tests.
There are currently 122 patients hospitalized with the virus, 20 are in intensive care, 3 are intubated in aggravated condition.
