One person infected with Covid-19 has died in Albania in the last 24 hours. A 55-year old from Vlora succumbed to the virus, bringing the total number of victims to 200.
125 new cases have been found, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic to 6536, the Ministry of Health reported.
The new cases were found in Tirana (68), Korça (15), Durrës (10), Shkodra (4), Lezha (4), Berat (4), Gjirokastra (4), Lushnja (3), Kurbin (3), Devoll (2), Elbasan (1), Kukës (1), Puka (1), Përmet (1), Saranda (1), Divjaka (1), Kolonja (1), and Gramsh (1).
37 people have recovered, bringing the total to 3379.
2957 cases are still active in the country, about half of them in Tirana.
Over 45,000 people have been tested since March, including serological (antibody) tests.
There are currently 122 patients hospitalized with the virus, 19 are in intensive care, 3 are intubated in aggravated condition.
