Over 15,000 Kosovar citizens crossed the border into Albania this morning for the last weekend of August.
Most will head to coastal areas such as Shengjin, Durres, Vlora and the Albanian Riviera to enjoy the remaining days of summer.
Long queues are still present at the Morina crossing point so this number is expected to increase throughout the day.
Last weekend, more than 31,000 people in 11,000 vehicles entered Albania from Kosovo making it one of the busiest weekends of the year. According to the Kosovo Police Information Office, some 830,000 Kosovo citizens have visited Albania this summer.
The figure is higher than last year when during the same period, 686,000 visited Albania via Morina.
