Over 25,000 people have entered Albania via the Morina border crossing point with Kosovo this morning.
Large queues stretching for several kilometres were observed on the Kosovo side of the border.
Those crossing are believed to be heading for the coast to enjoy the last of the summer. Last weekend, 15,000 people entered into Albania through Morina, meaning this weekend is so far almost twice as busy.
According to statistics from the Kosovo Police Information Office, over 830,000 Kosovo citizens visited Albania this summer, a significant increase on the 686,000 that visited the year before.
