Four people, – aged 59, 71, 76, 78, – infected with COVID-19 have died in Albania in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of victims to 338.
167 new cases have been found, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic to 11,520, the Ministry of Health reported.
The distribution of new cases is as follows:
Tirana (88), Durrës (11), Lezha (9), Elbasan (8), nga Korçë (7), Fushë-Arrëz (7), Kruja (5), Vlora (5), Shkodra (4), Berat (4), Gramsh (3), 2 cases in Librazhd, Tepelena, Bulqiza, Kuçova, and one case in Kurbin, Mirdita, Kamza, Gjirokastër, Dibër, Malësi e Madhe, Memaliaj.
46 people have recovered, bringing the total to 6615.
There are currently 179 patients hospitalized with the virus, 18 are in intensive care, 8 are intubated in aggravated condition.
4567 cases are still active in the country: Tirana (2317), Durrës (516), Shkodër (357), Lezhë (268), Elbasan (232), Korçë (209), Fier (185), Vlorë (163), Kukës (140), Berat (84), Gjirokastër (47), Dibër (49).
