Health Minister Ogerta Manastirliu said that the Albanian government has brought the Covid-19 crisis under control.
In an interview with journalist Eni Vasili, she said that the situation is stable and within the scenarios predicted by the government and experts:
“Today the situation is stable, the number of daily infections is in a normal situation. We are in the second scenario of our strategy, so it is affordable. “
The Minister stressed that currently Albania has the lowest number of infections in the region.
According to her, it is important for the country to suffer as few victims as possible during this pandemic.
Regarding the suicide of several patients in Covid 2 hospital, Manastirliu said that the prosecution will speak about them after the necessary investigations.
Currently in the country the number of infected with Covid 19 has reached 13 518 people, of whom 381 have lost their lives.
For several months now, the number of daily infections fluctuates between 120 and 170 infected.
