The Albanian police have arrested nine people for drug cultivation in two separate operations.
Four people were arrested in Fier and five more in Vlora, the police announced on Tuesday.
In Fier, R. B., 57, S. K., 38, E. K., 33, E. K., 31 were arrested while preparing 100 kg of cannabis for the market. A gun and ammunition were also seized on the spot.
In Vlora, police arrested A.B., 59, R. B., 58, F. R., 57, A. M., 55, E.Y., 39 for attempting to cultivate cannabis sativa. Police seized 5 kg of the drug on the spot.
