Three people – aged 47, 53, and 64 – infected with COVID-19 have died in Albania in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of victims to 454.
295 new cases have been found, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic to 17,350. This is a record high in daily new cases in Albania.
96 people have recovered, bringing the total to 10,167.
There are currently 259 patients hospitalized with the virus, 22 are in intensive care, 4 are intubated in aggravated condition.
The distribution of new cases is as follows: Tiranë (74), Durrës (39), Shkodër (30), Lushje (22), Vlorë (12), Fier (11), Pogradec (11), Krujë (10), Berat (10), Elbasan (9), Lezhë (9), Gjirokastër (7), Kurbin (6), Divjakë (5), Kukës (4), Tropojë (4), Prrenjas (4), Skrapar (4), Sarandë (3), Gramsh (3), Kuçovë (3), two cases in Has and Shijak, and one case in Fushë-Arrëz, Devollë, Kavajë, Mirditë,Rrogozhinë, Mallakastër, Librazhd, Mat, Përmet, Roskovec, Klos.
6,729 cases are still active in the country: Tiranë (3307), Durrës (693), Shkodër (477), Lezhë (350), Elbasan (293), Korçë (404), Fier (419), Vlorë (243), Kukës (172), Berat (202), Dibër (86), Gjirokastër (83).
